It is very easy to tell if someone is technically competent and knows what they are talking about, so it is enough to make anyone grumpy when one is treated like someone who has switched a computer on for the first time today.Įither MBAM gets their act together or I will not renew my License in March and will move on to another product.Ĭlick to expand.I see it as important to anyone using 3.0 even if they only took the free trial that has now expired and reverted 3.0 to scan on demand - to check the way 3.0 has registered itself in security settings - this only applies where the primary AV is not Microsoft Defender or MSEĪs to their Malwarebytes assurance that it is compatible with all major 3rd party AV`s - the MBAM forum posts tend to suggest it is not AND in that regard I fully agree with dvk01 who is far more conversant with such matters than I am. Over the years I have had a few problems with MBAM and it has never been my fault it has always been the fault of the product.Īm I grumpy. From MBAM support's perspective it is always the customers fault. coincidental perhaps? Perhaps not.Īnd MBAM support always assumes that the customer is an idiot with zero knowledge. Suspiciously version 2 started to become unstable and problematic shortly after the release of version 3.
It is extremely annoying to be not only an unpaid Beta Tester but to actually pay for the privilege. If I want to Beta Test a product I will sign up for it. MBAM used paying customers like myself to be unpaid Beta Testers. the gals and guys at MBAM need some really good direction. MBAM has been excellent in the Real Time mode and WD is still one of the best at file checking - and if anyone does not believe me then go and read the real-world tests.
